  • The Most Wonderful Time of the Year …

Rumor has it that it snowed in Nashville this week. I personally saw about half of a flurry. Seriously. This was not snow. But it has been awfully chilly. Scarves and winter coats-chilly. Which has put me in the mood for Christmas!

And that means decorating! So here’s a picture of my tree (tiny though it may be) and the colorful lights adorning my back window.

And if you’re counting, I’d say that about half my ornaments are either pictures of my nieces and nephews or made by them.

What are you doing to get into the Christmas spirit?

      Your tree–& ornaments–are so pretty!

    2. I’m drinking coffee from the Christmas mugs my rommate put in our cabinets last week! And adding eggnog creamer to each cup 🙂

Beautiful decorations!!! I am now in the Christmas spirit after spending a weekend in a foot of snow in MN with family – Christmas is about eating a TON of food, and complaining about how cold it is, and oohing and aahing about how beautiful it is. Oh, and family.

Mom and I put the tree up on Sunday afternoon and decorated it in the evening. All the house decorations are up and we are awaiting your arrival on the 23rd to have the whole family together. Micah and Beth are staying here that entire week. I just wrote an article for the guidepost at church about how the incarnation really fulfills the purpose of God’s name: El Qanna, my name is Jealous. He will always make a way for us to get to Him, especially through the sacrificial blood of Christ.

Since this will be my first Christmas away from my family, I’m going to do everything possible to have the Christmasiest Christmas ever. Lots of Christmas carols playing, my apartment is fully decorated, yummy candles burning, and the best part – made for tv holiday movies!!

    7. We decorated the tree, bought and devoured a box of chocolates, and listen to Christmas tunes on the way to and from school each day. I love this season!
